You are here because you want your child to learn about topics like God, scripture, and the nature of religion but you are frustrated by the bias and indoctrination often felt in traditional Sunday school classes or private religious schools. Free of any pressure for "conversion" or the idea that one path is "right" while the others are wrong, this course is designed to introduce students to the reality of God, God's love, and justice at the heart of the Christian faith. These courses are LGBTQIA+-friendly and are grounded in the fundamental truth that human prejudice is not the will of God. Using an academically-informed and historically-grounded approach to religion, this course will help students understand the movements of inclusive justice and love at the heart of religion before far-right ideologies took hold. Courses will run in three month-long sessions throughout the year. Cohorts will meet every other week and will be grouped based on grade level. Pricing will vary based on the number of students signed up.
